About Us
Derek James, Evangelist
Although Derek grew up in a small farming community in Adams County, OH, he has found a "new" home here in Waverly.
Derek began in vocational ministry in October of 2011 at WCC as our youth minister. And now after more than 11 years of ministry experience in Ohio and West Virginia, Derek returned in 2023 to become our Preaching Minister! Derek has a great passion for the growth of the Lord's Church and greatly anticipates what God continues to do in Him and in the church here at WCC!
When Derek is not working, he loves to spend as much times as possible with his wife (Liz) and their 3 precious kids (Daniel, Eva, Kenslee).
